My friends, it’s no lie that I am head-over-heels-in-love with in-home newborn sessions. They will forever and ever have my whole heart. Last year, I had to pull back in a huge way with what I took on. Between life, covid, and homeschooling….I just didn’t get my newborn fill that I didn’t know I needed. Behold, 2022 is already kicking off the pitter-pattering of my heart. I am so excited to see some sweet, squishy newborns already on my schedule!
For those that are wanting to book a newborn session with me. Know this. I strive to truly, truly document your life as it is. While I will direct and semi-pose you….I mostly allow you to flow as you most naturally do. If you welcome me into your home, try and pretend I’m not even there……kiss, dance, snuggle your little bundle just as you would in the wee hours of the morning. Those are the moments that are precious, they highlight how you are as a family–in the every day. My goal is to give you images that will immediately take you back, so much so, that you can feel the soft cheeks that you kissed 10 million times and smell that tantalizing scent of your brand new babe. Images that brings tears and smiles all in one moment. That’s my goal, and that is what I aim for in every single session.
I am soooo excited to work hard over the next couple of weeks and actually begin blogging some of the newborn sessions that I have not shared on here yet. I know, I know…..I’m about a year behind on my sharing. No longer, my friends…no longer. Mama here, is making a mental note to not neglect this space any longer. We’ll call it a New Year’s Resolution of some sort…..at least for the moment 😉
Here is one of my loveliest of families, I have gotten to document them numerous times and they never cease to amaze. They are just the most beautiful family. You WILL fall in love, trust me.
