Brown Family {Troutdale Family Photographer}

You know there are people in the world that it seems like you should have known them years ago? That was Maria, we should have known each other, we have a billion of the same friends, went to the same high school, and I believe we even went to the same church. It makes me sad that it took until she contacted me to take her little boy’s one year photos, which led to a cousin’s shoot when they had extended family in town, and then to finally capturing their whole family back in October. I knew right away that I had missed out big time not knowing her and her family prior to this.

I also learned that Maria and her husband were into music big time and music is what brought them together. Music has continued to play a role as they grew as a family. She happened to mention that a nightly routine is for them is to all sing together as a family before bed. So I simply could not resist asking them to bring along a guitar and incorporating that into their session.

We laughed, we danced, and we all ended the session singing “rock me mama like a wagon wheel….”
