Okay, first off I could NOT get over how beautiful and lovely this mama looked after just having a baby! And again, we totally lucked out with not only a beautiful day in October but an unusually WARM day! I could have shot in the warm golden sun all night if it would have lasted.
Talk about one of the sweetest and warmest families around! I love them! Although I’m pretty sure they left the session thinking we didn’t get any good shots, because their sweet 2 year old just wasn’t entirely into the camera that night. But I think they ended up with one of my largest galleries! And this is why I am always telling my client’s to trust me as I am always shooting through every moment. And more often then not, you can’t even tell if your child had moments where they weren’t the happiest. Plus, isn’t this just life? You plan plan plan to try and make everything perfect the day of photos and toddlers usually have plans of their own? Oh, the joys of growing tiny humans who have their own will and personality. And that is why I love photographing families so much, you just never know what they will bring to the table. But it is always beautiful. Because sometimes the chaos is more beautiful than the perfectly staged.
But I have to say mom and dad brought the beauty with them, especially when they turned on a song from Moana and we all danced and sang along! I’m always up for a good ole dance party with toddlers!
