This session spoke so much to my ever beating heart. Sometimes there are stories of trust and faith and pain that speak volumes to God’s goodness. I truly believe that God is good all the time–every second. But sometimes it is a little harder to see or understand His goodness in such a broken world. And then there are times where His goodness shines brighter than the noonday sun. Watching them with their sweet, sweet baby girl….that was one of those times. This little girl was wanted and deeply prayed for–you could feel the depth of their love in every little smile, the way her daddy held her and spoke such sweet and tender words to her. Her mama just stared and soaked up every last little detail–it was truly beautiful to be in the midst of such a miracle. It reminded me to never stop looking for God’s gracious goodness, even when the outcomes don’t seem to match what our hearts are yearning for.
But this. This right here is an amazing display of how God intricately knit together this precious baby girl perfectly for this family.
