This family is a special one. I’ve known the mama over the years and we’ve gotten to watch each other’s family grow boy by boy. Boy moms just seem to have a special “we get it” connection. And so is true with Ashley. I love her intentional parenting as she truly tries to understand the depth of each one of her boys.
There is so much beauty in watching God work in someone’s life and weave together the blessing of family. And then to get to stroll alongside and capture them just as they are is like a cherry on top. When she told me that they had a location in mind that meant hopping in their boat, I couldn’t say yes fast enough! This shoot was as dreamy and fun as it looks. Somehow we managed to mostly dodge the rain and lighting (thank goodness) to make the magic happen!
